Recently, Jason Paul started a Virtual Book Tour with Lightning Bug Lights. His first stop on his Book Tour was with the Anderson County School District in Tennessee. In a local Tennessee news story, Aiden R. said, “It’s an honor. He’s really, really inspiring me.” Click here to see the full news story on how virtual field trips inspire remote learners.
During his virtual lesson, Jason Paul held a small contest with a chance to win a one-on-one conversation with a few students from each grade. However, this was no ordinary conversation for first grader Elizabeth G. Jason Paul was so inspired by the book she wrote and read to him, that he had a surprise for Elizabeth. Later that week, Jason Paul zoomed with Elizabeth to tell her, ”I’m going to turn your story into magic and make it a published book. So we’re going to take your story and we’re going to publish it for you.” You can read the full news story here.
